What exactly is a Guardian?
Not your average stuffed animal — a completely customized, personal Guardian: one of a kind, handmade, and yours. Non-typical brains need non-typical items to help navigate this beautiful, hectic, chaotic world; may they help create a safe space within.
How does the interview work?
Cara sits down with you and asks a series of questions — starting with “what color makes you feel safe?” — then the fun part: what you want to bring into this, the spiritual, emotional, and physical aspects of energy. Your favorite music, your favorite movies, even your favorite food. It is extremely open-ended: a conversation between you, the Guardian, and the vessel who brings the Guardian through.
What sizes are available, and what do they cost?
6-inch $125 · 8-inch $150 · 10-inch $175 · 12-inch $200. Every size includes the interview — your Guardian is made for you, not before you.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. “I offer payment plans — I want to work with you in whatever capacity you have. We all deserve the care and love of the things we want and need in our life, without it feeling stressful.”
Can I adopt a Guardian that already exists?
Every Guardian is one of a kind — when it finds its person, it’s gone. That’s why each new Guardian starts with your interview instead of a shelf.
Where did Guardians come from?
Ten years ago, working with 2-to-5-year-olds with autism, Cara saw how impactful weighted items were — Guardians are rooted in that: an instantaneous grounder for meditation, travel, breakups, grief, or just needing a little extra help.
